Stirling Silver Spoon Ring - Kiwi

Originally part of a set of coffee spoons, this was made by a company called Beaston in 1940’s and 50’s.

Beaston’s were based in New Zealand and were renowned for their quality silver giftware for the tourist and novelty trades.

The Kiwi design was made by service men returning from WW2, many injured, but still highly skilled. They would carve the abalone shells to fit the spoon heads.

This spoon bowl has a hammered finish which gives the ring a reflective quality.
