Sterling Silver Spoon Ring - Kiwi

This solid silver spoon ring originated in New Zealand and was made by a company called Beaston. They were very well known for their quality novelty and tourist giftware in the 1940 and 50’s.

The Kiwi Coffee Spoon is one of the late 1940’s items made by returning injured service men from WW2. Many were employed to carve the abalone shells to fit the silver spoon heads.

With this Kiwi Spoon Ring I have flattened the bowl of the spoon and left it void of any further embellishment.
